There is something so captivating about sifting through people's lives in this intimate way. Exploring their froze moments without having much context.
When going through old family photographs, I was inspired to create a cover design for a collection of stories. There were so many wonderful photographs but this one of my aunt from 1964 was perfect. It was great to have a single individual to symbolize the author.
The soft pink and greens of the photograph inspired the overall color palette. Gradients have been popping up all over covers. This photo lent itself to this particular trend well. The overall cover has a nice level of symbolic depth without being to visually overwhelming.

Mechanical with place holder text for the back cover
