Drawing has been a constant source of joy and relaxation. It is a place where I can creatively express myself while working through complex thoughts and ideas.
In my most recent work, I have been exploring this thought I had about memory. These drawings are a symbolic interpretation of memory. Most drawings are confined to a box and only show a small piece of the big picture— similar to how one experiences a memory. It is only a small fragment of a larger picture.
These images are from January to March 2020. The process for creating these is rather simple. I start with an initial sketch and begin inking shortly after. Most images are directly from photos I've taken that are frozen fragments of my memories.
