An old professor told me this after she saw me doubting myself. To this day, it is one of the most inspiring and kind things someone has ever said to me. I know I have 'the most brilliant mind in the room'...I just have to believe it. Following this I found myself deep in thought about the advice I have received over my lifetime.
Over the last couple of years I have been collecting phrases, thoughts, and quotes. I plan on using this material and formatting it into a pocket sized book that I can carry around with me.
The following are just some of the things I've been collecting:
#7 is a personal favorite. It has become a bit of a catch phrase for myself.
I often find myself holding myself back because of fear or worrying about what is around the corner. Through tools I've received through therapy I am able to acknowledge these thoughts, plan to address them at a later date, and not let them control me.
The image below is a similar format to what I've been using for the in-depth break downs of the initial quote or thought. Because the contents of this book are a bit to precious and personal to share at this point I created this so one could get a feel for what I'm doing.
